This intrepid bunch of walkers braved the winter weather to share a fantastic 4 days of hiking in The North Lakes last week. Each day brought new 'interesting' weather, ranging from sunshine warm enough to picnic in, to hill-top snowfalls that made the mountains seem twice as high as usual.
Each day was completed at the very comfortable Glaramara Hotel who provided a warm welcome with crackling log fires and superb food.
To all who came along: well done and thanks for joining in this wonderful winter adventure! For us, it was the perfect stepping-stone to spring (which is very nearly just around the corner!!)
