A huge thank you to the lovely bunch who came along on our Best of Hadrian’s Wall week last week. We had three glorious days following this famous route from Housteads to Lanercost Priory, with awesome views to the ‘wild’ north, and Roman ruins at every turn. Two additional hikes along the South Tyne Trail completed our week with visits to the stunning Lambley Viaduct and Featherstone Castle Estate.
This was a trip memorable for great views, great walks, amazing food and hospitality (at the Centre of Britain Hotel) and above all for great company.
