Countdown to Spring in The Lakes!

For those who will be glad to see the back of January, it’s a cheery thought that the weather can turn so much kinder in such little time! Here are the photos from our 2022 spring walking break in The Lake District – all taken between March 24th and 27th, and you can see just how pleasant the walking conditions were - buckets of sunshine, and dry, bright days for walking the Cumbrian tracks and trails. And March 24th is only 10 weeks away!

We have reserved the same hotel and dates (actually March 23rd-26th this year) for our spring ’23 break so that we can enjoy ambling along, fully absorbing the blossoming signs of spring. Our walking will be at Easy to Moderate level, which means that we’ll cover around 10 to 12 km each full day along good tracks with no major hills or descents.

Join us for a 4-day energising spring break! All walks will be guided by qualified, experienced staff. You can find full details of our itinerary, the Rydal Hall hotel en-suite comforts, and details of how to book here: Spring walking holidays in The Lake District.

The daffs can be spectacular at this time of year. Certainly Wordsworth thought so!!
