2022 Highlights

A big thanks to all who came along to share a Skyline walking holiday this year, one that was memorable for some great weather and fantastic walks in The Lakes, The Dales, and beyond. It was a real pleasure to see people hit some inspiring personal targets, whether that's reaching the top of Scafell Pike or simply coming along to enjoy valley walks to amazing places while making new friends and walking pals. Here is a sample from the many great moments in '22....

Getting ready for a walk during our April walking break in Borrowdale in the North Lakes. Glaramara Hotel provided an excellent base - great food and superb surroundings.

Scafell Pike - an optional harder day during our Borrowdale & North Lakes trip. Unbridled joy as we reached the summit!

Devon Coast - Inspirational views all day long on our Easy to Moderate* coastal hikes based from the beautiful town of Lynton in Devon.

Curlew calls and lark song were the sound track to our Yorkshire Dales trip in June. A wonderful few days based from the quaint Dales village of Ingleton and the homely hospitality of The Wheatsheaf Inn. (pic - The trail from Clapham village up to Trow Gill)

Lakes and Waterfalls: Our most popular Easy to Moderate* walking break in The Lakes left us with great memories of new friends, lots of laughs, and some breath-taking scenery... (Skelwith Force in Langdale)

GRADES; *Easy to Moderate walking breaks represent our most popular grade, with walks lasting most of the day but which are on good tracks with no technical difficulties and not too much up and down!

Rydal Water showing off its colours as the first signs of Autumn appear at this stunning lake, five minutes' walk from our base at Rydal Hall. A memorable weekend of great walks and chat.

Amazing scenes in late autumn as the valley mists hung around a little longer creating the most stunning and dramatic spectacle in The Lake District. (pic - towards Windermere from the Kentmere hills)

THANK YOU! - to all who came along. We loved meeting you and hope to see you again in 2023.
